In 1994 after spending years in the forestry & agriculture sectors, I decided to return to my roots by starting Rasmussen's Custom Wood Products Inc., a moulding company that specializes in Solid Wood Mouldings.

The family name, Rasmussen, has been synonymous with fine quality wood craftsmen for over 100 years.  Solid wood, value and service form the foundation that the Rasmussen name has been built on.  Providing the trade and those in-the-know with the absolute finest in solid wood mouldings and trims has historically been their forté.

Today, Steven Rasmussen and his wife, Cecilia, continue to strengthen that reputation with their family owned, custom wood millwork shop located in MacPhersons Mills, Nova Scotia.  Well known and respected by today’s professional finish carpenters, cabinet makers, architects and designers.  At Rasmussen’s you can choose from an extensive selection of fine solid wood mouldings and trims from the following species: Ash; Yellow Birch; Cherry; Hard Maple; Red Oak; Knotty Pine; & Poplar.  Other species are available as special order.
